Start-Up Procedures : CNC Router

1) Details the proper steps to Start the CNC Router; these procedures should be done during the opening shift every day.

i) Turn the air on

(1) The air is controlled by a Red turn switch in the back right of the machine. It is the only Red turn switch you will find on this equipment.

ii) Turn on the Master Switch

(1) The Master Switch is located on the front of the Blue Controller Box that houses the Computer.

iii) Turn on the Enable Switch

(1) The Enable Switch is located on the front of the Blue Controller Box that houses the Computer.

iv) Open WinCNC

(1) WinCNC is the program interface that allows for utilization of the CNC Router. It is located on the Computer Desktop.

v) Run the Warm-up Command

(1) WinCNC has multiple command buttons located in the program interface. Find and select the button labeled: ‘Warmup’

vi) Measure all Table Tools

(1) WinCNC has multiple command buttons located in the program interface. Find and select the button labeled: ‘Measure All Table Tools’

vii) Check Dust Collector

(1) Check the Dust Bin to make sure it is not full.

(2) Check the Filter Dust Bowl and make sure it is completely emptied.
